Hold on...

Also, bath time is getting better. Not just because of the perfect temperature of the water...look at this towel!
I want one!

I'm right on top of that Rose...

It was time for Alex to get to work today-- we went into an office! We did not put him to work (yet) -- we'll ease him into it. Since dad's office is right near the Tate Modern, we first stopped in there first. He was about as enthralled with that as he was with the opera. (never once opened his eyes)
He opened his eyes in the office and cooed and was overall adorable and I have to say made everyone's day at the office.

Harley shout out: picture from the Tate, recognize that one? :-)

Smile-mania

Just three little words. 'The' , 'Foot' and Book'! What does that say, 'The Foot Book'! (author Dr. Seuss) was all it took...he smiles on other things but saying those three words a few times made this photo shoot an easy one.

Look at the results!

He liked the book too-- about 20 words of pure joy.

Do I like picnics?

Sure, why not? We all went on a picnic over the weekend and Alex seemed to enjoy it-- he will definitely try it again. And next time he might eat what's on offer instead of looking on enviously at Ellie and the adults.

We then came home and he could try out his new bed/crib/cot! Whee! He slept soundly, he seemed psyched.

'Oh...little playmate...'

'Come out and play with me...' (Remember that play song?)
So, Alex hung out with lots of babies today and he was great at it. They were all a bit older (and girls) -- as he likes them. Can you spot him? He's a little bit on the periphery during playtime in the sweet colorful outfit! (Thanks cousins Bobby and Erica -- each outfit is more adorable than the next)

And just an extra bonus, 'awww' for good measure.

And a video, just to be excessive.

More stuff starring...

Yup, Alex. You guys are so smart. We were out and about on walks and to parks this week and I realized that I take Alex out but he's always asleep-- as pictured. We hit the curb and usually he's all zzzzz...for hours. Good guy.

I don't think we've ever taken him out of the pram to really get the feel of this outside thing. Well, at Holland Park on Saturday, he stirred and woke (!) so we decided it was time for him to feel the fullness of outside. He needed to really take in the fresh air. It took a few moments to see what he really thought.

'Wait, what's this?' 'Where's the red canopy?'.

'Do I like this?' 'Is it funny?' 'Yea, it's funny!'

And a happy boy post!
