of Alex. Not really lost like those Honeymooner episode- it's not like I found them in a cobwebbed chest. I knew where these were just saving them for a rainy day. Not raining (!) but here.
Beach day! Pre-umbrella gate.
Horseplay!
Of course, the highlight here is the cousin interaction but also, Grandma's story of bringing four pairs of pants to Vermont - that she didn't wear! FOUR. Vermont.
UPDATED! An American living in London w/ her British husband and brand new baby girl and toddler. Which one am I? Who really cares? I think I like both titles.
I thought it would be fun to post pictures, videos and other Alex and Harper happenings on a new blog for your viewing pleasure. I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up but why not give it a shot? So, visit, don't visit, comment, don't comment, laugh, cry, it should definitely be better than CATS!

Oh, geez...Part II

Oh, geez...
Here we go again! We had another Stateside visit and covered the usual locales (and some new ones!): Long Island/Westchester/Brooklyn/Manhattan/Vermont/Massachusetts and EVEN Connecticut (don't ask). We visited old haunts, new haunts and had a fabulous time.
A lot good times as seen below. We're back now in London and I do like that I was under the impression that on Tuesday morning (after getting in at 10pm) that Alex and I would make his first music class....alas, we can make it up another time. But nice try, crazy lady.
Straight to the beach! We're on holiday! Let's get this party started...

Seems to have started....

Together again!

Coochie coochie coo...
Alex likes being silly and really loves to laugh. I soon expect him to float to the ceiling a la Mary Poppins.
Some other photos from the past week or so.
At the Natural History Museum.

Relaxing at the Matthews afterwards-- glad he feels this comfortable and can lounge around.

Some more broccoli with baby photos-- still finding broccoli in his armpits.

Cousins!
There's been some confusion about this blog post as it was below the 6 month bonanza so a few people didn't view it. I've reposted it so it doesn't get missed.
Confusion may be a little dramatic but here it is for the Leah and Jackie fans out there.
xx
I realized that I never put this cute video up of Leah and Jackie (of Jumping Jackie) fame! (she's famous for other stuff but I like having an 'excuse' to view that performance)

6 month bonanza!
Alex is 6 months old! Wow oh wow-- the bonanza is below...it's been a while and you can just look to the blog for most highlights but here are some more.
He's wearing these yammers in honor of Leah's upcoming trip to Sesame Place.

We're getting him to try food-- or at least sit at the table.
What's going on?

I'm having fun!

Next stop- 10 Downing Street.

The British Museum is fun!

I like atriums.

Tushy in the air while sleeping!

And a lowlight: RIP Sophie Le Giraffe Levy....we lost her a few times (in the US, on Elgin Avenue) but found her soon after. Last week, she was lost forever on Hampstead High Street. It happened so quickly. She's being held one moment and next thing I know, she's vanished! I retraced our steps even ironically passed a restaurant called "Giraffe" thinking she may have jumped out there. I must admit, Alex has taken it really well but here they are together and content.

Videos are proving to take about 6 months to upload on blogspot, but I'll keep trying, loyal Alex lovers.
